I'm one of many patients of Dr. Randall. Presently I'm down 92 lbs since surgery, 8 months ago and 102 lbs since my start to become healthy again. Come walk with us and see what this is all about. Thank you for supporting The Walk from Obesity. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.

It's now 108 lbs and I feel fantastic.  I'm 14 lbs away from my personal goal weight and will make it without a problem.  If I don't lose another pound, I'd still be happy.  This has been the best journey I've ever been on.  A little rough in the beginning but worth everything I've gone thru.

Hi Bunny, I am not looking forward to the first month...but everyone I have asked, even people who have had rough experiences, pretty much says they would do it all again.  I look forward to feeling better and getting off my diabetes meds for the most part. I'll see you on the 22nd. Julie

Hi Julie: Each has a different experience after the surgery.  Some never experience difficulties with food, etc.  I'm fussy and it added to the problem but was able to overcome it.  I became very sensitive to any type of meat and had to resort to other means to get my protein in.  Most of the protein drinks made me gag as well so that added to everything as well.  As you can tell, I survived and yes, I'd do it all over again.  It was a challenge worth having. When is your surgery? Lorraine
