Can weight loss be stalled already???
I started losing right away. Seemed like a pound a day for a few weeks. Now all of a sudden, I'm on stage 4, and the scale hasn't moved in a few days...(like 5??) I'm eating what I should and still keeping calories low, but nothing is happening.
Did this happen to other folks too?? I'm frustrated and not sure what to do next to help this along!

Hi Marie,
I know what you are talking about. Yes, we do stall every now & then, but it seems that when the scale doesn't show results, the clothes that were too small last week, now fit! So, if you must keep the scale, keep a pair of tight jeans beside it, so you can jump into them and see results.
I finally hit 100 pounds down (since my first visit with out dear Dr. Hess), but it was a week bouncing back and forth before it has finally deided to stay there.

I stopped losing around 6 mths...I even uppsed my calories burned my training for a marathon and kept my intake LOW...I plateud a lot and then had major things happen in my life to stress me out from the death of a CLOSE person, to a major move up north with a hault in exercising....Ive now gained 40 lbs. YOUR PLATEAU will BE OKAY - DONT GIVE UP on i****ch you calories in/calories out and MVOE your body - YOU CAN BEAT THIS!!!
Thanks for your post! I really miss weight lifting and can't wait to get back to it. I'm so paranoid that the insulin I'm taking (that helped me gain in the first place) will just add more on eventually because that's what it does. I didn't get on the scale today and feel good in my clothes, so I'll give the scale a break for a bit. I don't walk every day, but I DO give "most" days my best shot. Thanks for your encouragement!!!
