Searching for doctors/hospitals

Take the trip to Boston to Beth Israel Deaconess. Dr. Daniel Jones was my surgeon and he was even on good morning america last week. The hospital is fantastic. Why not go for the best, in spite of the inconvenience. Irene

Hi julie  I would recommend Beth Isreal in boston.  The bariatric staff is the best i had dr jones he  was great. He comes in and checks on you a couple times a day tosee howyou  are doing. The nurses in the hospital @ recovery are great and they really care about you and always come in to make shore everything is ok and ifyou need anything itis a really great place. Good luck withwhat ever you  decide.

Hi. I had my lap band surgery on April 2nd at UMASS by Dr. Kelly. I was home by 1:30 PM. Dr. Kelly is an accomplished, gentle surgeon with a warm smile. I feel blessed to have had him. I love the program. It's NOT a 2 year wait. It was 7 months for me, but I could have had my surgery in 6. My husband went on a golf trip and I chose to wait until he got back.

BTW, I lost 48.5 pounds in 13 weeks. I LOVE my band!
