Hang in there StellaMichelle! I was scheduled for January 31st and was denied on January 30th! I called BCBS and worked with one person there...I kept sending more and more documenation...they sent me 7 refusals for lack of sufficient documentation...they denied my 6 month supervised diet because it was happened in the clinic where I am having the surgery done. I kept on it...I requested my medical file from my pcp and from the hospital and sent them over 100 pages. Finally I was approved! Though my surgeon's office just changed my date...again...like it hasn't been hard enough to now have to deal with an office person who keeps changing me. I am now scheduled for April 24th but I won't believe until I am laying on the table : ). Hang in there and don't give up! document, document, document! Jane
