CAN ANYONE HELP?

Does anyone know if medicaid will cover the sleeve gastrectomy? Anywhere in mass? I have ma health and medicaid. I can't have the by pass or the band and this is my only hope left. I would appreciate any help. Has anyone in mass had this surgery? Thanks in advance. Cathy

Hi, I ask my surgeon about the types of surgeries I have been hearing about on OH one being the sleeve and he said that no one in Mass does it. You would have to go to New York. Have you ask you surgeon about it? I have the RNY and I couldn't be happier. It has been 12 days post-op for me and so far so good and 19 pounds down. Good luck on your research. Clare
