Beth Israel Post Op WLS Groups

Hi, Does anyone go to the BI post op wl support group meetings? I had lapband done at another hospital, but they said I could come to their meetings. I guess they do Lapband and gastric bypass meetings together. How are the meetings there for post op wls? Thanks, Leslie

HI Leslie- I had RNY at Beth Israel in November and have been to 2 of the support group meetings. They are usually run by a nutritionist and they are planning to start having a topic each time and then general discussion at the end of the meeting. Give it a try!
