What is an Angel?

I see your messages about Angels but don't see much explaining what they are or where to find one. Any help!?!? Jennifer

An angel is a post-op who helps a pre-op through surgery and after.. They answer questions and calm concerns. It nice to have an angel who is local to you so you can pay a visit to the hospital and see them.. You can also talk on the phone. I am an angel right now to Carol S. and she had surgery on Monday. I talked with her through email and on the phone a couple times. I went to see her yesterday in the hospital and we talked about anything that was a concern... I will talk with her I am sure when she gets home and help her through the first couple of months... its a way to give back and also to make a friend
