Home from the hospital

Got home today around noon. All in all my experience went pretty well. Surgery was on Thursday scheduled for 8 am and of course there was an emergency appendectomy. No big deal was taken into the room about 9 and I think I got out about noon. My only problems were the drain they left in. It was rubbing against my diaphram and the the nerve branch for it is also responsible for your left shoulder. So my shoulder was killing me all night Thursday. Once that came out, and the foley catheter, I felt like a million bucks. Now it clear liquids for me till next Friday.

Welcome home Thomas! I'm glad you're on the other side of the surgery. I can't wait to be there myself because I begin my clear liquid fast tomorrow in preparation for my surgery on Monday. Happy healing! C
