Need an Angel? Be an Angel?

I have been asked to help people on the Mass board heading for surgery get the support that they need by helping them get an angel here in Mass. If you have an upcomming surgery date and would like to have someone who supports you through that time, reports to OH how you are doing after surgery, talks with you about your concerns and is just there for you as someone who understand what you will be going through at this very important time in your life. Or if you are someone here on the Mass board who has had your surgery and feel like giving back and supporting someone *****ally needs your experience. I was an angel for a fellow Mass person and in turn she was mine. It was very rewarding to have someone who watches out for you. We still check on eachother progress and offer support. I have my RNY surgery scheduled for January 8th at UMASS. I could really use an angel and would in turn hope to use my experience to help someone else. I have to admit, I'm scared about the changes I'm about to impose on my body but know I need to change in order to be healthy.

I am available if anyone is in the framingham area, as I work out in this area. I live in Boston, but work out this way. I work long hours so I could help someone in this area more so than in the Boston area. Private message me for me details. I would also like to know more what this all entails... This surgery has saved my life, and I thank goodness for it and I was so scared and felt so alone. I want to give back now, and feel that it is a VITAL part of my continued recovery to do so.
