Help with Searching posts

I have been searching for any previous posts regarding info on Dr Hess but when i get my results back and click on the hyperlink to read the thread i get dumped back on the forum page. Any suggestions as to what i may be doing wrong or suggestions on how to look up the detail to prior posts?
