I have an appointment with Dr. Hess for early November to discuss Bypass surgery. I am a long-time sufferer of severe IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrom) *****cently underwent a Hemoroid surgery called PPH, which is a stapling surgery for prolapsed hemoroids. I am very curious if anyone else suffers form this affliction and if you have had the surgery, after undergoing the surgery, have you fealt improvement?

I have it too and in fact I think I had problems with it immediately following my surgery. I could not keep in the protein drinks (instant breakfast and isopure) in and ended up starting my soft foods earlier. From what I have heard having the surgery does not affect IBS. Good luck.
