Have any info on Cushings Syndrome/Disease?

I have just been diagnosed with Cushings Syndrome.
I have tried for over three years to get this diagnosis...
but my urine tests kept coming back in the normal range.
I finally had a Dexamethasone Suppression Test- (the overnight blood test)
(I have had two 1mg tests and one 8mg test)
these three tests have all come back positive.
I am now waiting to find out if I will have a CT scan or a MRI to pinpoint the tumor's location- (either pituitary or adrenal) and size.

So,
Now that I am 2.5 months post-op RNY,
I am curious if anyone out there has this disease or knows anyone that does.
I would appreciate any and all info that you are willing to share with me.

Saw this just a few minutes ago and remembered reading a thread here about another WLSer who had been diagnosed... so I used the search function on OH.. and there are quite a few postings out there about this.. (including yours!)   Pasting the link here.

 

 

I have it too.  I have a lot of other health issues though.  It is just kind of one of those diagnosis' that was heaped onto the dog pile...
