LAP BAND IN FLORIDA

Has anyone had lap band surgery in FLORIDA - where - and any advice about lupus and surgery - I am thankful for any help

Hi  I don't live in florida but I do know what it's like to have Lap Band surgery and Lupus.  I'm lucky to say that my lupus is under control and does not affect me on a daily basis.  I had Lap Band surgery 1/19/07 and have lost more than 25 lbs so far.  It's the BEST thing I've ever done and I'm so glad that I took the first steps. Read that you have Lupus and have had the lap band procedure done  - I am glad to hear that people with lupus are not ruled out. I am in the process of checking with my insurance to see if the procedure is covered......keep your fingers crossed:) Good luck on your weight loss journey Janie
