we have mot seen ppl on this board have very good luck with band over bypass. We have seen them have lots of trouble from the band however, reflux, throwing up,  inability to eat solids, among others. I wouldn't do it personally. Why are you considering it?

Topic: Seeking inexpensive Lap-band fills in Los Angeles

I used to see Dr. Paya in West Hills for my adjustments and he charged $150. However the drive was far so I started seeing a doctor in Beverly Hills who charges $300 For an adjustment. Does anyone have a recommendation for a better price in the Los Angeles area? Thank you.

I made a mistake, I thought it was the Inamed/Allergan/Apollo band that was removed.  That's wrong information, it's the Realize band that has been discontinued.

But, one down, one to go to keep obese people safe.

I read on another site that Realize had already sent out notices to surgeons that they were no longer manufacturing them anymore either, so hopefully it's a double whammy and there is no longer any bands being made from now on!!

Now they need to start paying us for our pain and suffering!!
