That would sure add to the price unless it is time to go and visit friends and family in NJ and you can get a cheap flight on Spirit! I hope you can find some better answer.
I had red itching areas in the folds at the base of my stomach. I tried creams and powders and nothing seem to help. I tried Boudreaux's Butt Paste after one application the redness and itching stopped. Hope it gives you the same relief.
My doctor in NJ charges $200 cash, but I'd have to fly up there just for the appointment. Ugh.

Wow, that is awful. I thought it was bad when I investigated and thought a fill would cost me $200 in VA. Hope you find a cheaper and more satisfactory way.
You might try contacting the manufacturer and see if they can suggest some one or ask your primary if they know someone who would be able to do fills. That is an outrageous price but they figure so few people have bands anymore that they can charge whatever they want! Lots of shady docs out there, sadly!
Hi Omar
I'd explain to your Dr. that his Diagnosis is preventing you from getting the proper treatment that you need. He can also do a Peer to review of your case and it basically challenges the insurance companies decision and the Dr. gets the chance to state why it's necessary for you to continue with Fills. If that doesn't help try to challenge the insurance company in that IF the band was placed due to morbid obesity then how can they say NOW they don't want to cover your Treatment?
BE your own ADVOCATE and don't just take their decision as Gospel, it's often reversed with a peer to peer reviw of the case .
I hope you get this worked out!
I've had my band for 7 years, now, and love it just as much as I ever did. I lost a total of about 100 lbs, before emptying it to have my 3rd baby last year. She's now 4 months old, and I'm trying to find a doctor to fill my band here in Florida. My insurance doesn't cover the band, so I'm trying to find someone who won't charge $1K for an adjustment. I'd like to avoid flying back to NJ just for a fill, but that seems to be the most affordable option at this point. Anyway, I'm glad to see someone else who is happy with their band. There are so many horror stories. Best of luck to you :-)
I'm trying to find a doctor to do my fills in FL. Since my insurance doesn't cover it, I'll have to be self pay. Everyone wants $1,000 or more, and require I join support groups, buy supplements, etc., which is really frustrating. Ugh.
