Just checking in after not being on the form in 3 years.  I couldn't even remember the web address to find this forum.  I haven't lost any more weight.  For whatever reason, I just stopped.  I haven't gained either.  But I do still need to drop about 30 lbs.  Well maybe I have gained some since my very lowest weigh in at 169.5.  I'm now about 182.  For some reason, I became okay with it.   I'm ready to move forward now.  I'm hopeful I won't need a fill but am willing to go get one if I need it.

Welcome back. And it sounds as if you have done well. It's very easy to get complacent!  I regained not once but twice but have been able to lose it both times. A case of getting the mindset back!

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Hello, I am new to this website. I got my lap bank in 2007 and i haven't had a fill since 2011. I scheduled an appt for this Friday. I gained most of my weight back. Any suggestions?

Make sure first if all your fill level us right - not to prevent you eating but to make you eat a bit more slowly.

then do whatever worked for you in 2007.  My way might not work, I didn't journal or count, I just ate well! But the key is

protein first, then crunchy veggies, then carbs if room left.

Eat a sensible amount and then walk away, didn't stay to pick!

Snacks if any should be filling and nutritious

I would suggest you start journaling your food t see where you need to make changes. It's really easy to let things back in your diet or to let portions get large. Good luck!

For me, I have to track everything going into my mouth and record it.  And measure it.  Otherwise I fall into the "that look about right" and may be trice as much as I think or half the protein than I thought.

I also had to get moving to lose and keep those last 20 off.  That and I went to a therapist when getting the band removed and sleeved and that helped.  I dealt with issue and had accountability.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
