Lap-Band with TriCare

I am a very happy and successful long term banded person, very happy to share my experience with you if you want!  But I  wanted to say, do research, real research! There are always stories of oeople who died as a result of surgery. But when investigated they rarely turn out to be caused by the surgery, they are caused by the ill health which led to the need for surgery in the first place.

In my nine years on here, my many meetings with other people who have had surgery, I know of two people who have died. Neither died as a direct result of the type of surgery.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

I have the band, and it was paid for through Tricare. Please message me if you have any questions. :)

Hi! I'm 31 and have had the lapband for a little over a year and Tricare paid for my surgery. Now I was prior military but I didn't request the surgery until I became a military spouse...anyway, you can message me as well if you would like to chat or have questions.
