Gastric Band Removal

Could anyone tell me what happens after a Lap band removal. Is it the same as when it was put in and you have liquid and puree food for a couple of weeks after surgery? I am having mine removed next week and want to try to prepare myself for when I get home.

I was on full liquids for 3 days and thenregular food as tolerated. I didn't have any trouble eating at all.
