Nooooooooooooooooooo. If someone does not have wls benefits ins co's do not have to pay for ANYTHING related to wls including removing bands. There are many many people who have massive medical bills in the hundreds of thousands of dollars due to complications of lap bands an no wls benefits. I personally know people who have bills anywhere from $20K to $150K for lap band removal and/or complications.
