Thanks for updating the group. I have been praying for Lisa and her family .. And was not sure whether to post here, but I am glad you did ... Because they need the the love, support and prayers we can offer.

Lisa is a wonderful woman, inspiration, friend, sister, spouse.

She inspired my Lapband journey so much, and I was so excited to get to meet her in person a free years ago after building such a strong on line friendship.

Sending all my love, support and prayers for Lisa's healing.

I am so sorry to hear about Lisa.

Thank you so much for the update, I will continue to pray for Lisa and her family. We all love Lisa, she is a strong lady.

I just read where Lisa also has encephalitis (an inflamation of the brain usually due to infection) so they are a little concerned about brain function but hopeful. She is going to have a long road no matter what so thank goodness she has such a huge support group!

Where did you hear that about her encephalitis?

I've been wondering where she had been.  

 

Cheryl, answering for Hislady! She is in touch with a close friend of Lisa, nothing to do with these boards. Hislady and Jean are both getting updates from Lisa's friends and passing information on to us. Jean, who knows Lisa IRL is also in touch with Lisa's family. 

I am so sorry to hear this.  I will add her to my prayer group.  Please keep us updated.

Geez, I am really sorry to hear this about Lisa.  I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.  Wow!

The only thing I can add to this Lisa update is that her condition is already improving as a result of the new tube connecting her lower stomach and intestines. That's the first piece of good news I've heard in the past week. Let's hope it's followed soon by more and more good news.
