Restart 10/13/2013
I was banded back in 2005 , lost weight and regain all plus some back.... Today is a new day... My first goal is to get to 299 Lbs on or before Jan 01, 2014.. Current weight as today 330 lbs...
I need to start working out so my goal today is to get in at least 1/2 mile in.....
I need to work on my menu- I posted asking what people are eating and have received some response- ( thanks )... So if u have a menu that is pretty simple send it my way. I am not a cook but I can do simple things...
I work 8X5 so lunch needs to be pretty simple because most of the time its a working lunch behind a desk....
Yes I need to plan a visit to the Drs office.. I still have restriction but its not the same.
Good luck. My losing phases diet is fairly simple. Plain meat, grilled or pan-fried; more often fish. Fresh vegetables. Small amount of something like potato or rice. Snacks are nuts, fruit. If I am hungry I have an extra meal of something like fish.
I cut nothing out if my diet completely be don't eat much sugar in or on things. I choose brown bread in preference to white.
Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
I am at a restart point today too! Your message really motivated me. I was banded back in 09. Lost 107, have gained back all but about 40. So disapointed in myself, yet I know that emotion is doing me no good. I am ready to eat clean, at least 85-90% of the time, like I will the rest of my life.

Wishing you success!!! You can do it. Where your greatest desire is, that is where your focus and efforts will be. 1 day at a time. 1 meal at a time. Planning will help. I am just now getting back to it too and I did pretty well last week and the weekend wasn't perfect but I did ok. Better than usual. MUCH better than usual, I stuck to my plan but had some alcohol which I know will slow it down, and some fried pickle chips. That was the worst... but back on track today and I may even do another liquid day to kind of make up for it.
