Hi, is anyone on ADCAL D3?  its a huge white tablet that you either chew or can put in water.  Does anyone have any alternatives as these aren't doing it for me.  The chewwy ones leave chalk like marks on my lips hours after and the ones that go in water make me burp like a train.

I take Citrical Petites altho they aren't really very petite! My band is empty now but I used to be able to take them even with 6 ccs in my band. They are the correct type of calcium, the citrate rather than the carbonate.

Oooh I will look into those.  I am so bad at taking medicine regularly that if I don't like something I know I will put it off.  How did you do on the band and why is it empty if you don't mind me asking?

The band just never worked for me, I think the biggest issue is I ate healthy before and wasn't able to exercise because of a lung disease, so there really wasn't anything for the band to change. I only lost 20 lbs with it and then it started getting tighter after about 3-4 yrs and after a couple of partial unfills I just had it emptied. It cost me $225 every time I had a fill or unfill. I can eat healthier food now with out getting stuck or sick, I'd like to get it out but insurance doesn't cover bariatrics so gotta wait till I can get on medicare in a couple of years.

Thanks for sharing.  This is someting I am worried about.  I know someone who had it done and is actually bigger - then again I think they constantly melt chocolate to eat it.  My problem has been portion size as I am sure I don't have a full button.  I had the op on the 2nd sep and weight loss has been slow, but I still can't exercise.  I do hope your lungs are feeling better and that you are feeling more content with yourself.
