I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband!  You had surgery the same year I did and your results are amazing.  The fact that you have maintained your weight loss speaks to how strong you are.  You're doing the right thing!  Get back to basics and never give up.  Keep an eye on the reflux though.  I had to get my band removed in May because of severe, chronic reflux and a dilated pouch/esoph.  Reflux is a serious warning sign.

Welcome back!

Lisa O.

Lap Band surgery Nov. 2008, SW 335. Lost 116 lbs.  LB removal May 2013 gained 53 lbs. Revisied to RNY October 14, 2013, new SW 275.

Life can certainly turn us upside down and I'm so sorry for your loss! You'll probably see the board has changed some but we all are ready to cheer you on. If you have any particular questions be sure to ask, I bet at least one of us has an answer. Time to kick those pounds to the curb!

So sorry for your loss. I'm just coming back here after getting derailed. Certainly nothing compared to what you went through. I've been working 60-80 hours every week for the last year, and have fallen back into old habits and gained almost half of my weight loss back (lost 100 pounds, gained 40). I decided it's time to get back to the basics and do the things that kept me focused in the first place - and this site was one of them.
