You get a very uncomfortable icky feeling so I make sure I don't.

With the band I only threw up when stuck and than went back to liquid for at least 24 hours to let the swelling go down.  I couldn't eat after a stuck.  With the sleeve the food is in your stomach and if you overeat it is like stuffing yourself at Thanksgiving and not being able to eat more. You might feel like you would like to throw up but, you don't.  It is totally different.  I try to not overeat and also you feel the same if you try to drink while eating.  At least for me that is what happens and it makes it easier for me to be good.

Now my sister gets the foamies if she eats too much or too fast.

Thanks for the info!!

What happens when you over eat compared to the band?

For me I vomit but it's different than with a band.  You don't repeatedly vomit trying to get unstuck, you just vomit and you are done.  It hasn't happened to me many times, just when I was mindlessly eating and busy doing other things at the same time and my focus wasn't on quantity.  For me it happens about once a year.
