Dilation for last 3.5 yrs!

I revised due to dilation. The way my surgeon explained it, once dilated you might be able to get the dilation to return to normal with an unfill in the early stages, but once you fill the band again it is very likely to return.

I revised to a sleeve, which is still considered (especially in the beginning) to be a "high pressure" mechanism, but my surgeon felt it would be OK as my dilation was pretty minor.

My surgeon indicated to me that, left untreated, dilations can get so large that the base of your esophagus becomes "floppy" and makes even a revision very difficult. Please don't agree to another band, look at other options.
