Had Surgery Friday 7/12/2013

Hello,

Had surgery Friday Band over Bypass. Everything went well, I had a hernia repair, I did not expect that part. I can drink normal and tolerating everything on liquid diet. I feel no hunger, I enjoy the restriction again and I don't even have any thing in my band yet. I had RNY in 2004 went from 280 to 179-185 never lower than 179. My Stoma widened and I never went lower than 179, I regained back up to 240 all during 2013, before that I had maintained between 179/185. I did all the research for each revsion option, I don't want to hear about that topic. My question is for those that went from RNY to Lap, the first month how was your weight loss before your first fill.

I can't help you with the weight loss question, but just wanted to tell you, that you are not alone.  I too, had a RNY, mine was in 2001.  I started at 353 and never made it under 250. I have never gained the bulk of my weight back luckily, but have bounced between 260 and 280 for the last several years.  My stoma was made too large from the get go.  I had to work for every single pound I lost.  Good luck and add me as a friend.  I sent you a request.  I would love to talk more through private message.
