I am so scared! Today I was sitting on my couch and all of a sudden I could taste blood in my mouth. I Went to the bathroom to spit. It was bright red blood. It was bright red blood over several spits. I called the doc and am going for an extra tomorrow and making an appointment with the GI doctor for a scope. Has anyone had this issue? Is it band related?

We have no way in the world of knowing that.  You need to see your doc or go to an ER.

I called my doc. I am having two test tomorrow and setting up an appointment for a scope. I was just looking to see if others had a similar issue and if they did if it was band related.

Keep us posted!!! as previous discussed "could be anything" Intra Orally a small amount of blood can seem Vast as it mixes with saliva and increases in volume. Sure hope things work out for you GOOD LUCK!

I could be band related but, you won't know until you talk to the GI doctor and have the test.  It could also not be related.  Only a doctor and knowing your medical history would know.

Good luck at the doctors and hope you get answers soon!
