Band fill
Advice? Tips? I could write a book full. Hey, wait. I DID write a book full.
Seriously, though. I think it's great you've got a fill appointment lined up. The most basic advice I can give you one that's very often repeated here: go back to the basics. If you still have the educational materials your surgeon gave you when you were first banded, give yourself a refresher course and read them over. If you don't still have them, ask for them when you go for your fill.

Start now by clearing out all of the junk food from the house, then start de-carbing yourself. Return to eating a minimum of 60 g. of protein and 64 oz, of water. Use dense protein, don't drink before during or after eating for at least 1/2 hour. Start going to support group meetings, and add in exercise. This will give you a good start. A fill will help but don't allow yourself to get too tight. If you cannot eat dense protein except for at breakfast or you begin getting stuck you will need an unfill again. Follow your surgeons instructions and be patient. Remember weight loss for a bandster is between 1-2 pounds a week, sometimes less. You just cannot ru****
Good luck,
