Thanks to the Sleeve Board, I've lost 6 more pounds by EXTREME dieting and protein drinks
First of all, congrats on your weightloss. I want to point out, though, that you are not on the "sleeve diet". I do not do an all liquid diet. My diet is a balanced mixture of lean proteins and fruits/veggies. I eat 750 calories per day and 40 carbs. With regards to weightloss, I lose 12lbs/month very consistently.
I have no idea what you read.....maybe a post from someone in the standard liquid phase right after surgery? BTW, I did 6 weeks of liquids/mushies with both my band and my sleeve. For me, the farther I get along with my sleeve, there really is no comparison between the two. My sleeve continues to stack up as the clear winner.

I'm curious WHY anyone would feel the NEED to go on a" perceived sleeve diet " if indeed the lapband diet is so wonderful? I myself would rather be sleeved and take my chances.
Since after having a band I was told I could eat anything I wanted " just in lesser amounts" my surgeon's word's not mine .. hahahah just another one of many things that our doctors lied to us about when getting the band
I agree with Annie, why would you need to go on a so called sleeve diet if your band diet is working for you??? What in the world sense does that make?? Stay on your "band" diet and lose those 5 more pounds. You made your choice of which surgery you wanted, and so did everyone else. Your little bit of handful people you so called say who speak negative of band and have the sleeve are more than likely a low percentage. Its a whole other world our there that you have not come to face with, duh! So you really cant judge from who you got your lil info from, unless you perhaps make it interview the whole entire world..... till then its really uncalled for to do w.e you think you may be doing. If you have a issue with whom ever seems to be blowing the smoke as you say, then take it up with them. Last I checked this was a support site, people come here for support, not negativity on others choices. Everyone is not the same, we all go through our WLS differently and with different outcomes. Any life change or surgery is going have problems or bumps in the road. BUT, it was their choice, and 2 months out??? from your lil last post someone who was obviously in her own feelings and will more than likely will be thinking differently months down the line, she is 2 months in for Christ sakes!! lmao!
Point is, you don't like others blowing the so called smoke, soooo you turning around and doing the same thing does what??? Oh i guess gives your more validation that YOUR choice was the best huh, best in the world and everyone should do it?!?!. Yes to you, like i said everyone makes a choice. Everyone has their own lil reasons of why they chose what they did and not another. But sitting up here doing the same thing you do not like, that another is doing, is contradicting!!! That's what's with the world today in the first place smh.
But any who, good luck to you and your weight loss journey.
