How do we know when our band is too tight?

You are doing good, don't let people scare you, it takes LOT of vomiting for the band to slip, it's not that easy really, with my old band, I had many stuck episodes and my old band never did slip, but I had a pouch dilation in my first year that my surgeon never fixed, and that was caused by filling my band way too tight and me traveling long distance and this caused severe swelling and inflamation, and that probably caused my issues, but I got my band replaced last year because of a hiatal hernia that was never fixed, not really from the band itself.
So as long as you eat right and chew your food most of the time, you should not worry, most people who have complications vomit and get food stuck, eating too much on a too tight band several times a day for several years, so it take a lot of abuse for band complications to happen, never let people scare you, you are doing good.
