Shhhh!  The person that spends hours looking for unhappy sleevers may see this  After all you know Us "band to sleeve revisions" can't do as well or be as happy as a virgin

Four months out, 20 pounds lower than I every got in 3.5 years with the band!  Close to 30 pounds less than my real low (more than a couple days.)

I so agree, wish I had!

It's wonderful that so many sleevesters (band to sleeve revisions) are happy. It's not so wonderful that I'm not a member of that club. Which no doubt makes many sleevesters extra happy.

this isn't the revision forum...these are, for the most part virgin sleevers exactly my point.  Get it right the first time :)

Had it not been for falling for that "least invasive" crap I think we would have! lol

Btw.............glad you are feeling so much better now that you have had your band removed. And glad you'll be joining the happy VSG'er club! :-)

Unfortunately I cannot revise.  There was so much scar tissue removed in my band removal surgery that the doctor said he could not recommend any further WLS for me.  I'm on a soft diet because the tissue is thinned out in spots and weak.  If my esophagus and stomach heal properly, then I need to be happy they are functioning normally and I'm able to eat.  No vsg for me.  Anyone wanting a restrictive surgery needs to be fully informed that even if your insurance allows more than one WLS, the band can preclude you from revising.

Why are you not happy with the sleeve, Jean?  I am happy with mine, just not myself for most of the last year.  LOL
