Truce?

Those were the good old days.  Annie was like our own personal TV drama show "As the Band turns".  She always had a study to back her up.  Than somebody world find the real one.

I started using papaya with the band after my DD, that doesn't have WLS, doc friend recommended them.  My other DD has used them since just before getting sleeved.  None of us have holes in our stomachs.  Loved that one  Never did get one of the CD's, darn.  Now we just get studies in progress posted as proof of future ills with "the other surgery".

I am sure that newbie is off making us tax payers pay for her life as it is their job!   She would be happy to know we would have to pay for her fills and unfills here anyway.

I remember when she was posting about the horrors of sleeves.  She said we have to take the SAME EXACT vitamins as DSers AND RNYers.  OMG, that would kill us!  At the very least it would do very serious harm.  She also claimed that we malabsorb calories and leaks are a risk for life.  Clearly, they are not.  Once healed you are good to go.

Each time she would spew utter nonsense we would all post proof she didn't have a clue what she was talking about and then remember... she would disappear for weeks.

She lost her RN license for stealing a verrrry expensive coat.  It was a felony shoplifting.  When she went to renew her RN license she lied about having a felony, got caught, and had her license revoked.  She claimed it was a transfer addiction- the shoplifting.  First WLS transfer addiction I ever saw before having WLS.

Yeah, she was our own soap "As The Band Turns" but never forget, we still have NBM. ;)

Yes the BOB's need their own boards.  That would make it easier to find each other and have support for a completely different surgery.  They could also combine the Realize and Lap as everyone post here anyway.

OMG, I remember Sandy! And the protein shake wars. There was so much drama!! LOL

Yes, the ongoing protein shake wars, straw wars and how long before and after eating you could drink wars.

I used to be one of those stupid Sandy supporters until she tried to get me to buy vitamins from some  "friend" of hers but I had to contact said "friend" thru her. The scary part is she wanted to get together for lunch sometime because she lived right across the river from me!!!        That's about the time I faded away from contact with her!

Oh yeah!  I forgot about the infamous vitamins!  She had a link that she was paid per click and she would post all over the boards that she had personally contacted OUR doctors and they wanted us taking these vitamins.  She was not only selling them she got paid per click as well.

Remember when she dubbed herself band educator because she offered advice on the boards so we all started signing off as band educators as well?  Heh...

Man you have a great memory.  I hung on to her every word at first because she was a "band educator."  It didn't take long to here stuff that I knew was garbage.

Some people just need to be fawned over and think they are Band educators.  They will do/say anything to keep their following.  You know the queen bees that have the people buzzing and fawning over them and everything coming out of their mouth is gospel.  I think every board has at least one, even today.
