CHOKING!

When was your last adjustment?  Have you done this for the entire 5 years? 

I am wondering if the same thing is happening to you that happened to me.  I hadn't had an adjustment in over a year and all of a sudden I am choking on acid in the middle of the night, getting stuck on everything I eat - and sliming constantly!  I hadn't had a slime episode my entire 4.5 years as a LapBander and then all of a sudden I do.

It is very possible you have scar tissue around your band that is causing it to suddenly tighten.

I was two years out when I had happen what happened to Hislady & Lilsleeved.  For the last 18 months they would take out fill and I would be OK for awhile.  I would than need more fill out again.  I too finally had all the fill removed until I could get the band removed.

I was having issues with getting fills/un-fills.  It was getting more and more painful.  Scare tissue had totally surrounded the port and the port was tipped inside the scare capsule.  The band had adhesions so it would get tighter even with fill being taken out.
