I'm pretty sure I'm getting band over bypass.
Yes, I'd prefer DS. Not an option. Can't afford it in the states and the doc in brazil wouldn't take me.
RNY revision doesn't seem effective for many. I imagine I'd lose 15 lbs and be in same boat.

Sooo....gamble. Band over bypass. I know the stories for those who had complications, but I also know the people who lost weight. I had ZERO quality of life when I was heavy so I'm taking the gamble.

So, I'll need SUPPORT! Help. Empathy. Patience. Help me! Help me! Lol

Start? Any immediate preop or post op advice welcome.

I had my LapBand removed a bit over a year ago, and revised to VSG.  I just wanted to wish you luck!  We did have a regular on this board that was a BOB, and she was very successful.  Hopefully, you will be the same!

I've found a few BOBs which is good- I'm sure it's not common. They have been successful. The only other options require high BMI so here I am!

Get a US surgeon to come to MX and do it.  There is one that will do it that I know of.
