When Monday comes, my Band goes!

Revision on 04/29/13

Well, after 5 years with my band, I am saying goodbye & good riddance!! April 29, I am having the band removed and revising to sleeve! I am scared , but excited!!!

Began journey in 2007 at 312, had Lap band 2008, lost 40 pre-op then 24 post op, regained to 319. Lost 39# on my own, then revised to VSG 4/29/13 @ 280.

Good luck, I hope you love your sleeve as much as I love mine. I have lost more weight in 8 months with the sleeve than I did in 5 years with the band and have not vomited once since my surgeon took that thing outa me. Good luck and congrats on a new beginning and getting better.

I wish you all the very best in your new journey! The first few weeks may be a bit rough but it will be soooo worth it for you. I remember you had trouble from the get go and the band never did work for you. I hope your sleeve brings you all the goodness that the band didn't! I'll watch for you on the sleeve forum to let us know how you are doing!!
