Let's share some NSV's

Recently I test drove a brand new Fiat.

Before WLS, I probably weighed most than that car!

I was in S. Cali at a friend's home and he took me shopping -- the Fiat dealership was in the middle of the mall.  They were just adorable.  I was looking at this teeny red convertible and the sales lady asked if I wanted to test drive it.  I laughed and said, "I wouldn't fit in that small car" -- she said, "I dare you to try!"  I fit perfectly!  I drove that baby out the back of the mall and down the street!  $15K was the asking price!  Too Cute for Words!

DH and I have been going to the gym so much lately that he asked me last week if we qualified as "gym rats." [Note: I evaluated our personalities and determined that we are "GYM FERRETS."]

Working out so much, I had been expecting to see weight LOSS, but after a month of staying of the scale (to preserve my sanity), I found that I weighed exactly the same. I wasn't happy, but I wasn't all that bummed out, either. However, in the past month I have had at least a half-dozen of my fellow gym-goers tell me that they can really see a difference in how I look. THAT makes me really, really happy.

PS: My husband, that S.O.B., has lost 15 pounds.

  UGH, Men are so infuriating!

Sometimes we get so caught up on SV's that we don't enjoy all of the NSV's we experience.  Those little Fiats are adorable! 

I think one of my favorite NSV's still is the fact that I never worry if I can fit in a chair/booth/seat.  I don't suffer foot pain by taking walks, and I can wear high heels! 

Next up, you have to try a Smart Car. Or, as I say in my New England accent: a Smaht Cah.

People standing or walking behind me have stopped running into my butt.
