2ND Bandaversary. Happy Healthy Life
Not to much to say other than I am doing great, feeling great, and looking great. So proud of myself for putting myself first that day two years ago. Wow what a change in two years.
Keep up the hard work newbies, and if you're considering making a change for yourself i suggest you do it and don't waist anymore time being unhappy with your body.
Happy Spring Everyone.
Hi,
This is my first post and maybe I'm in the wrong area, but first let me say you look great!, second, you posted your starting weight if you don't mind me asking....How much do you weigh now?.... I am 8 days post lap band surgery and still feel very swollen, is this normal? Thanks for any help.....Sue
Hi Sue,
First of all, congrats on taking the first step. Yes its normal for you to be swollen at this point. It took me 2 weeks before my belly went down. They fill you internally with air so they can work microscopically to put in the band so it takes a while for the air to dissipate. You have underwent major surgery and your body is freaking out a little. WALK WALK WALK chew gasX and use that heating pad. You are going to start feeling better very soon.
My heaviest was 265, I was 243 at day of surgery. I am currently sitting comfortable at 145 and a size 6 pants and M shirt. I think I want to loose maybe 10 more lbs, but am okay if I stay where I am too. I have large boobs and am thankful I haven't lost them so I am okay with 145. :)
I love shopping and playing with looks I would have never tried in the past. Like Jeggings.... who woulda thought?
Hang in there Sue, you can do this.
