I went to my primary care doc today and we discussed the denial for my revision. He was so pissed he called the girl that works on insurance into the room and asked her to appeal the decision. I faxed her the denial letter and wrote a list of everything that has and is still going wrong with my band. The doc said she is really good with appeals. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck! I had to have the band removed before I could start to appeal and fight for the revision. With the medical issues they approved the removal right away.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Maybe there's hope afterall.
