I'm so very very sorry Steph. Try not to stress about it too much, I know that's easier said then done, but no good can come from all this fear and anxiety. Treat yourself to some aromatherapy, bubble baths, old music a pedicure, and some deep breathing. We are all here for you, and if you need to talk, call me. ( if you've forgotten my number then PM me and I'll give it to you again.

Hugs

Hi,

So sorry for your troubles!  I had a Manometry test last week at Swedish.  Dr. Aye ordered it.  He is an esophageal cancer specialist.  No, I don't have cancer, but seem to be having some motility issues.  While I can't say it's a pleasant experience, I lived through it.  Let me know if you have any questions about the test.

Best~

Thanks, Lisa. Sorry to hear of your troubles too! Keep me updated on your situation, please. Motility problems are no fun!

What other tests have you had? I had an EGD in December, gastric emptying study last month and barium swallow (I think my 5th one since banding). I'm under the care of a gastroenterologist at Overlake, too.
