Low immunity since lap band

I have been the sickest I have ever been. I have been sick 5 times since the middle of December and it is only the middle of March now. I take a multi-vit and exercise regularly by I can't seem to fight back anything. I was just diagnosed with sinus infection and possible pneumonia today. On antibiotics. Has anyone else had this happen??? Any help would be appreciated.

my experience is quite different.  I have been sick far less since I had my wls

i am terrible about taking my multi vitamins ... But I do eat a fairly healthy band-friendly diet.

Sick people all around me and I have had one cold issue that lasted a week but no issues. I have had less allergy issues and on less allergy meds.

Hope you feel better soon! There has been a lot of sickness going around here in FL all winter, hot then cold, really bad for sickness.

Well I haven't been sick a lot but I have been having issues with needing multiple rounds of antibiotics.

Like when I got pink eye in September...I had it for 6 weeks and it took 2 rounds of antibiotics and steroids to get rid of it.  I also got a UTI that took 4 rounds of antibiotics before it would go away.  Now I have the problem with my sinuses and my ears...and I don't know if it;s an infection or something else...but they did gave me 2 rounds of antibiotics and steroids, nasal sprays and decongestants and still nothing seems to be working...I have had this going on 2 months now. 

But I have had my band for 4 years and this just started this past August...so I don't know if one has to do with the other.
