First thank you to all who gave me their input and experience about gallbladder surgery. I had the surgery yesterday and all went well except I have right shoulder pain. I know some of you spoke about that with the band what could it be for me?

That is from the CO2  ( Carbon Dioxide) that they put into the bodily cavity to keep things out of the surgeon's way. Some people experience Left shoulder pain others do not, They say that best way to relieve this is to WALK ,WALK, WALK OUT.. It can take days to weeks to go away ..

The right shoulder pain is because your GB is on the right, under the liver. The stomach is predominantly on the left, the diaphragm and vagus nerve can get irritated with gastric surgery too, not so much with GB surgery.
