anyone have gall bladder surgery

I have to have my gallbladder out Thursday and don't know what to expect as far as recovery. Can someone share their experience please

Well I'm pretty experienced with surgery because I've had a truck load of different kinds. As for gall bladder I would compare it to band surgery only a bit easier. You have about the same number of incisions but on the other side of your stomach and healing seemed a bit quicker and less painful. Good luck it's usually not a big deal.

If you are having GB pain you will be so happy after the surgery is over,

I also thought the pain was less than the LB and I didn't even have the shoulder pain.

I was just so glad to get it out.
