Hi Layla. How's things?

I thought the pouch test was a bypass thing? Does it help VSG people as well? Or is it just to get your mind back on track? Going back to liquids never does anything for me; if I go off track, it suits me better just to go straight back to band style eating.

We all do what works for us. Good luck! Hope it sorts out whatever you want it to sort out.  Kate

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Any WLS really!  Sort of a carb detox getting back to basics thing. I am a Kaye Bailey fan for sure.  Her books are awesome as is she.

My beautiful little sleeved stomach has no issues.  She is as kind, gentle  and as beautiful as can be.  I still have some weight to lose and spring is coming . . ..summer.  I have to tighten up my intake, exercise more and get to my goal weight.

Oh, and this is not all liquids.  It is a progressive diet like post op.  It's really feeling yourself.  Sitting with yourself naked and taking the time to get who you are and what you feel and in turn being MINDFUL of what we eat.  Then going beyond day 5 (a WLS post-op way of life).  This is about developing a lifestyle that assures long--term success.

All best,

Layla

Yeah, you too!!! Sending all goodness!

It's feeling like spring here EXCEPT we are going to get some sort of winter storm beginning tomorrow.  Ugh, I hate the cold and dark.  Can't wait to get into my spring/summer dresses and skirts and flip flops 24/7.

Beautiful here at the moment, sunny and, if not warm, not cold either!  Trouble with the UK is we can never predict! Some summers are long and hot, others cold and damp. And our weather has gone crazy. Last April we had an official drought declaration, hose pipe bans, no refilling garden ponds unless there were fish in them etc.. The day after the announcement, it started to rain, and rain, and rain. We had the wettest summer on record, floods everywhere, time and time again. In places that haven't ever flooded before.

So all we can do is hope! A nice long hot summer would be nice!!
