Total unfill?
Read my answer right below this post. Mine has been empty for nearly 2 yrs. Have you tried just getting some of the fill taken out? If you are getting stuck and spitting up often you are probably too tight. Try a partial unfill first and see how that goes, you may be just fine with that. If it is a problem with that then try a full infill, now if that doesn't help you may have something else going on and you should see your surgeon to find out what's going on. I can eat much healthier now and stick with the protein first and then veggies for a meal with out getting stuck. Good luck!
Yes, I had a total unfill for a couple of weeks this summer. My dr thought this would resolve some of my symptoms - I got to the point where I could not eat anything. After that did not work, I had an upper GI and my dr realized the extent of my complications with the band.
