Flem or something in throat after eating
You need to contact your surgeon and get in to be seen your band may need a slight unfill. In addition try a PPI for a while. Does it bother you when you are sleeping? Start making phone calls now because in the event that things have tightened around your band you need to get it taken care of ASAP before it gets worse or causes damage.
A constant need to clear your throat can be a sign of acid reflux. If you are eating OK and are not too tight, you could ask your doctor about taking an acid reducer.
Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
I agree with Kate.
For me, that's either a sign of reflux, or a sign that my seasonal pollen allergies have started up.

I don't know if this is something along these lines. But ever since I have had my Band (since day 1)....whenever I eat, my nose runs. I have to have a tissue near by...so I can discretely wipe my nose once in awhile during my meal. Sometimes it's worse than other times. But maybe you are having sort of the same thing but post nasal drip??? I never mentioned anything about it because it's such a non-issue for me and no one has ever asked about it (that I saw).
I asked my doctor about it and he said it has something to do with the way the band is sitting on the nerves near my stomach. Some people get arm pain...I get a runny nose. Weird...
