Calories
I don't think there is a set amount for everyone. I workout 6 days a week, 90 minutes a day. I can eat a more calories than a person that takes a walk and still lose weight. I was never told calories...and really don't count calories. Every once in a while I do a check to make sure I'm doing ok. But otherwise I don't count calories. I was told at mealtimes lean protein 3-5 oz. 2 servings 1/4 cup of complex carbs (these should be veggies and fruits first, then whole grains). if you stay with in these guidelines it would be hard to eat more than you should. But these were my guidlines...you should contact your NUT or doctor to find out your guidelines.
The first person to ask that question of is your bariatric surgeon and/or dietitian, but in general, calorie intake will depend on your age, gender, height, weight, weight loss goal, and activity/exercise level. There are lots of online calculators you can use to come up with a number. Like this one:

My calorie goal was 900/day for the first few months, then 1000-1100 as my exercise increased.

A little tip : when ever you eat a piece of fruit eat it with a protein ( cheese, meat or cottage cheese) the protein will neutralize your taste buds so you do not get a blood spike or develop any cravings from the fruit.
