Thankful for my band -- 6 years later!

That's awesome!  Thanks for posting.  I'm considering getting a band and I have been reading a lot of negative posts about them.  Nice to see that some people are happy with them and do well.

I do think there tend to be more negative posts than positive ones...I realize I probably should've posted more often these past 6 years...I used to post a lot & be on the board much more often in the first couple of years.  While there is no "perfect" solution for weight loss, I have found the band to meet my needs, and would do it all again -- that's not to say that there haven't been some ups & downs along the journey, but I definitely feel that I would not have reached my weight loss goal w/out the surgery & definitely wouldn't' be celebrating 3 years of being at goal & below!
