Well good luck
I too have lapband and if I knew what I know now, I would have had the sleeve done instead. Make sure you are prepared to have another surgery and most likely at a higher cost for a revision and will your insurance cover another surgery?
I was not counting on another surgery, but years of either beingig too tight or not tight enough have worn on me. I am at goal BUT only got that way from constantly getting sick from my band. It only took me a few months to get togoal. Yay me...NOT. If I were you I would self pay and go elsewhere to have the sleeve done and forget about having thay band.

Revision on 08/13/13
I am 3 years out from lap band, lost 85 lbs. then the beginning of last year it has been a downward spiral of unfills and fills. there has been no happy medium I am either too tight or too loose and have gained back 50lbs. I am so torn as to what to do now. I did love my band but now not so sure...good luck in your decision it is yours to make and only you can decide.
