This is a good reference guide.  When you don't have any measuring cups/spoons/scales at your disposal.  I suggest carrying this in your purse.   

I'm 4 years out and I still measure....what my eyes perceive cup is actually not a cup. 

I tested myself once.  I spooned out what I thought was about a cup of cottage cheese.  When I checked it....it was actually more like 1 1/2 cups.  After that reality check I knew that my eyes couldn't be trusted as measuring tools..no matter how long I have had my band.  I even have a set of measuring cups at work so I don't have to worry about being without them.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
