low cal alcoholic drinks?
If I drink it is wine. I was never drinker before, the most I ever had was wine.

I'm like Prek, on the very rare occasions that I go to dinner or go out I have wine. I also notice I can no longer have the red wines I used to like. They are now too strong for my tummy, and remember you will get a buzz faster than before so make sure you don't over do. Another thing to keep in mind is some people end up with alcoholic issues after any weight loss surgery. They used to think it was only RNYers that had problems with it but they are finding that all types can lead to alcoholism when people displace their food addiction for alcohol.
I was never a big drinker and now with me trying to lose weight I really think twice. So last year I drank a total of two times. Once I had Sangria and the other time was a Cosmopolitan. Once was on my birthday and the other was mother's day. So they were treats. Mostly I prefer to not drink my calories...I would rather fill my stomach with food that will satisfy my hunger.
CHRISTINE-we all know it's better NOT to drink alcohol..no judgements here..but..
When I do choose to the decision to partake, YOUR go-to is MY go-to..lol..if in a home setting I bring the cranberry juice myself and bring the "diet" kind, and then water the whole drink down quite a bit, with alot of ice..which melts, in the large glass..I like drinks sweeter, and usually add some Splenda...when out, I may get a skinny marguerita-but-again-I have to add Spenda, or they don't taste good to me-and I always order with extra salt (again-these are not designed for HEALTH),,
When I CHOOSE to drink, I make a concerted effort to have 3 glasses of plain water for every glass of alcoholic whatever..It takes very little alcohol to jack with our systems, as I know you already know..
